Technimed is a project for vocational training combining workplace training and formal education (‘alternance’)
for future production technicians
in the bio-pharmaceutical industry.
This project aims to train 24 jobseekers a year
. The training will take place in training centres and in companies.
The industrial partners
of this project are UCB, GSK, Baxter Biosciences, Baxter Medical Device, Lonza and Pfizer.
Training programmes will begin in the autumn and recruitment will take place from the start of September each year.
The profiles sought
by the companies are school-leavers with the CESS (certificate of secondary education eq. A-levels) or graduates with bachelor degrees in a scientific discipline (chemistry, biology, pharmacy, biotechnology, physiotherapy, nutrition etc.).
