Over the course of this day dedicated to European programmes and networks which took place February 21st, BioWin joined the panel entitled “Which opportunities for European networks?”. 7
The cluster shared its commitment to opening up within European networks.
Indeed, a Europe committee was created in the cluster in 2017 and has a strong backing from its management board.
This day was an opportunity to call to mind the 7 strong areas of our “Smart Specialisation” strategy: biopharmacy and vaccines, cell therapy, radiation applications in healthcare, biomanufacturing, digital healthcare, in vitro and in vivo diagnostics, and medical devices (implanted and non-implanted).
This strategic approach allows for coherence and cohesion in supporting our SMEs in harmony with the regional approach (DG06) in European projects.
Recently, BioWin became involved in a Cosme project “Clusters Go international” MAGIA in the MedTech area, with 3 other regions; our region granted us its support by way of the DG06.
We hope that in the near future other European project opportunities will manifest themselves for the cluster as well as for its SME members in European programmes such as H2020, IMI, etc.
