Swiss Biotech Day 2026

BioWin highlights the Swiss Biotech Mission 2026, led by AWEX in collaboration with WBI Research & Innovation, offering Walloon life sciences players a unique opportunity to connect with one of the world’s leading biotech ecosystems.

The mission combines participation in the Swiss Biotech Day (May 4–5, 2026, Basel) — one of Europe’s flagship life sciences business events, bringing together more than 3,000 international professionals around key topics such as R&D, biomanufacturing, artificial intelligence, data management and financing — with an in-depth discovery of the Valais biotech ecosystem (May 5–6, 2026), Switzerland’s second major biotech hub.

During Swiss Biotech Day, AWEX will support Walloon companies through an information stand in the “Global Village”, offering collective visibility, access to conferences, pitching sessions, partnering events and tailored B2B meetings, as well as dedicated on-site guidance. The mission will then continue in Valais with targeted B2B meetings, ecosystem presentations, site visits and networking opportunities, aimed at fostering concrete collaborations and positioning Walloon actors within high-value European and global biotech networks.
