Thematic keynote session : During this Morning Club, CTUB will present its initiative and ambitions.
Belgium has long been recognized as one of Europe’s leading countries for clinical trials, consistently ranking among the top three. However, this position is now under pressure due to increasing international competition and the ongoing harmonization of clinical trial regulations and processes at the European level.
In this evolving landscape, Wallonia benefits from a particularly strong ecosystem of CROs and service providers , some internationally recognized, forming a complete and coherent value chain.
At the same time, new dynamics are emerging, such as the recently launched CTUB (Clinical Trial Unit Belgium) initiative. Bringing together representatives from 26 Belgian hospitals, CTUB aims to harmonize best practices and establish a national coordination point for strategic clinical trial decisions.
