Launch event for the FWVL SAFE Interreg project with AntiRési
launch of the AniRési and Safe projects, INTERREG FWVL, dedicated to the development of antimicrobial solutions for materials (metals, plastics, ceramics, composites) and medical implants.
We are pleased to invite you to the launch event of the Interreg FWVL SAFE project, an opportunity to discover the project in all its facets and to answer one question in particular: how can implant-related bacterial infections be prevented?
Body implants are vulnerable to bacterial infection, which can lead to serious complications such as chronic inflammation, rejection of the implant and even the need for surgery to remove it. These limitations therefore call into question the long-term effectiveness of implants.
The Interreg VI – SAFE project provides an innovative solution by covering implants with a thin layer that has both antibacterial properties and optimum biocompatibility.
