Your MissionWe are looking for an experienced, pragmatic, and visionary Director of Product Quality (leading the Quality & Testing organization) to lead the evolution of our quality practices across the full software lifecycle. Reporting directly to the VP Product Operations & Quality, you will own and scale the team, strategy, and culture needed to drive quality initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and champion a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver exceptional, reliable, and compliant products that exceed customer expectations.
Job requirements

  • Lead the development and execution of the product quality strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of quality management systems (QMS) for our software products, including validation, testing, and documentation processes.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Customer Success teams to embed quality and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD-integrated test automation, including pipeline smoke tests, bug coverage analytics, and automation tooling across squads.
  • Monitor and analyze product quality metrics, identify trends, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., GxP, ISO, FDA 21 CFR Part 11) and support regulatory audits and inspections.
  • Champion best practices in risk management, defect prevention, testing strategy, and process optimization.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing quality team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product quality matters, both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with leadership to support business growth, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
Job responsibilities

  • 8+ years of experience in product quality, quality assurance, or quality operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a SaaS software development environment.
  • Strong track record in regulated B2B SaaS environments (life sciences or healthcare ideal).
  • Deep understanding of software delivery lifecycle, DevOps culture, and test automation strategies.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive organizational change.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, and a drive to create clarity through structured coaching and processes.
