Job description
You are responsible for the revenue and profit of your customer portfolio, which consists of hospital laboratories and private clinical laboratories in Flanders:
- You establish and maintain commercial contacts with existing and potential customers.
- You proactively inform customers about new developments.
- You analyse customer needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- You work together with your colleagues to develop a commercial proposal.
- You are responsible for the follow‑up of sales projects and public tenders.
- You negotiate prices and conditions with customers in line with the company strategy.
You work closely with your colleagues:
- Together with the Application Specialists and Product Managers, you develop a technically accurate proposal.
- You inform your colleagues about new opportunities, market information, and competitor developments.
- You manage your sales funnel and prepare accurate monthly and yearly forecasts.
- You report your daily activities in the CRM system.
Description of the profile
- You have a higher education degree in a scientific field (bachelor) or equivalent relevant experience.
- You have several years of experience in clinical biology and/or life sciences; experience in a clinical laboratory is an asset.
- You have commercial experience in medical diagnostics or medtech, demonstrated through relevant commercial achievements.
- You are a native Dutch speaker. A good command of English and French is an advantage.
- You have an analytical mindset and are results‑oriented.
- You are dynamic and possess excellent interpersonal and commercial skills.
- You are driven and enthusiastic.
- You have a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
