DIADENO
The DIADENO project aims to create a test to detect a chronic gynaecological disease that causes pain and bleeding in women. The project uses advanced technologies such as next-generation sequencing, machine learning and artificial intelligence to identify a specific signature of the disease and translate it into a simple, cost-effective test.
The project is being carried out by a consortium of four partners: Progenus, B12 Consulting, UCLouvain and ULiège. The project responds to an unmet medical need, offering a reliable and minimally invasive diagnosis of a neglected disease that affects the quality of life of many women and represents a significant cost to the social security system. The project is innovative in nature, fits in with the BioWin cluster’s strategic areas of activity, and is aimed primarily at the European market.
